⚾ Garmin Hrm Pro Stopped Working

I washed it really well and stopped wearing it for a week (scary, but actually nice to take a week off obsessing over HR zones and stats), then I went back to it as a test before pulling the trigger on a wahoo, and somehow I was magically cured and it hasn’t happened since. my theory is that cleaning it with soap was the answer, as before After working fine for many months, it suddenly stopped working mid-training. I figured it was out of battery, so I replaced the battery - and it worked for maybe 5 minutes and then dropped out again. I was unable to connect it again. I took it apart, replaced the battery (unsure if I might have put in an old battery). Still same issue. I have this same issue. I've turned it off and on (more than once) It didn't help. My HR Wrist monitor is in the on position. I tried turning the broadcast on.. . Nothing. No green sensor lights…. I am having the same problem! How did you finally solve it? Go to settings then sensors and accessories and see if your heart rate broadcast has Troubleshooting. Resetting the Device. Maximizing Battery Life. Improving GPS Satellite Reception. My device is in the wrong language. Temperature Readings. Replacement O-rings. Viewing Device Information. Updating the Software Using Garmin Express. Just HR: any well rated strap garmin or not will work. Probably garmin dual or polar h9/h10/oh1 are good options. Running dynamics (within garmin ecosystem/app): HRM TRI or RUN. Honestly with a garmin watch on the wrist this is giving most people the top end of functionality they will actually use. All bells and whistles: PRO Garmin pushed a "sensor update" this morning, and now once every hour or less, the heart rate just shows two dashes or "measuring". I took good care of the strap, rinsing it after every run and using some Hi Blake, Yes. Quarq power meter, and Garmin speed sensor. Battery I replaced about a month ago after the first time started playing up. Again everytime doesn't connect to Edge unit I can see the actual HR is working on the connection to my Apple TV and wahoo Kickr unit. I've had the watch for less than a week, and it worked perfectly for a few days then a whole load of functions just stopped working. Heart rate monitor, step counter, compass: all just completely unresponsive. I've made sure the software is up-to-date, done soft resets and a full master reset. I just past my return window on my second hrm pro plus so getting h10 means extra $90 . All I really want is the lactate threshold update. I couldn't figure out why I stopped getting it since Feb (worked fine prior months ) at this rate of $ invested, I am almost can do a lab vo2max+lactate threshold test!! (Bought two hrm pro plus) This includes HRM-Swim, HRM-Dual, HRM-Pro and HRM-Pro Plus. There’s is also Garmin HRM-Run which can be picked up on some retail sites, along with HRM-Tri. The first has been around since 2013 HRM-RUN stopped working suddenly. I've had an HRM-Run since December. It was working fine until Wednesday when it took several minutes for my Fenix 6X Pro to recognise it. Since then it seems invisible to the watch. I've changed the battery.
